Who We Are

Changing Images Design is a full-service residential remodeling and general contracting firm based in Rogers, Minnesota. We help homeowners reimagine how their spaces look and function, then manage the construction that brings those plans to life.

The firm is structured for clients who want a well-planned, well-managed remodel: one point of contact, clear expectations, and a finished home that feels cohesive, not pieced together.

For many of our clients, the goal is simple: invest once, do it correctly, and fall in love with their home all over again.

Tammy Vetter

  • Residential Building Contractor Lic#BC646582
  • ASID Allied Member
  • Minnesota Licensed Realtor

Since 1994, Tammy Vetter has focused on helping homeowners reimagine how their spaces can look, feel, and function. With a background that spans design, construction, and real estate, she evaluates each home from multiple angles: what is possible structurally, what is appropriate aesthetically, what it will realistically take to achieve, and how those decisions affect long-term value.

She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Dakota County Technical College and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

Clients value that Tammy takes the time to listen, is straightforward about feasibility and budget, and stays personally involved as the work moves from concept into construction. She collaborates closely with architects, trades, and homeowners, providing a process that feels organized and well led under a single, accountable point of contact.

Our Process

We start with a complimentary phone consultation to understand your space, priorities, timeline, and investment range.

Tammy then visits your home to see the space in person, review constraints (such as load-bearing walls or window locations), take measurements and photos, and talk through how you live now and what needs to change.

You share inspiration—Houzz idea books, Pinterest boards, or other images and materials you’re drawn to—along with notes about what you like in each. While you refine your ideas, we develop preliminary floor plans and a realistic investment range based on the scope and level of finish you’re considering.

We then meet to review the concept plans and preliminary budget, discuss options, and decide together whether it makes sense to move forward. If you do, a design fee is collected to cover the next phase of work.

Plans and elevations are refined based on your feedback and sent to you for review. Our project manager and trade partners walk the space to confirm scope and gather detailed bids.

Tammy guides you through selecting cabinetry, countertops, tile, fixtures, lighting, hardware, and other finishes so everything works together and fits the agreed investment level. Those selections are priced, and we prepare a detailed final budget for review.

Once you’re comfortable with the plan, selections, and pricing, we sign the construction contract, confirm the schedule, and begin ordering materials. We help you prepare the home for construction and talk through how daily life will work while the project is underway.

During construction, Tammy coordinates permits, inspections, and subcontractors, oversees quality and dust control, and keeps you informed at key milestones—so you stay involved in important decisions without having to manage the jobsite yourself.
